It’s been two hella long years since The Weeknd released his blockbuster “After Hours” album in March 2020, just after the pandemic had shut down the world.

So it’s no wonder that the pop superstar looks as if he’s aged decades on the cover of his new LP, “Dawn FM,” which arrived early Friday morning. The struggle has been real.

The Sun Rises on the Weeknd’s Dawn FM


The Weeknd’s newest album, Dawn FM, has risen. Described as “a new sonic universe from the mind of The Weeknd,” the album features a number of artists, including Quincy Jones; Tyler, the Creator; Lil Wayne; and After Hours producer Oneohtrix Point Never. BFF and neighbor Jim Carrey is featured on the album and was “thrilled to play a part in his symphony.”

Skill, judgment, feel: PGA Tour players adjusting without green-reading books


Only once in his career has Kevin Na cracked open of those detailed green-reading books.

It was last year, on the 17th green at Waialae Country Club, where Na needed a birdie-eagle finish to shoot 59 in the third round of the Sony Open. Sizing up his 10-footer, he glanced at the book, adjusted his read, made the stroke and ... missed. He settled for 61 but eventually won the event.

PGA TOUR CADDIE ON TRYING TO POLICE PUTTING CHEATING: "GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!"


"I think at some point, guys will transfer notes they shouldn't. It's going to happen."

The PGA Tour this week introduced some new policies for its members: no more green-reading books. 

Instead, players and caddies have been handed new yardage books and will instead have to rely on their feet, eyes and feel to drain putts.

$1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in the Rio Grande Valley

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Texas Lottery officials said a $1 million ticket was sold in Brownsville.

The ticket, without the Powerball number, was sold at a Stripes Convenience store located at 3301 Southmost Road.

As of yet, no one has come forward to claim the ticket. In 2017 the Texas Legislature enacted HB 59 and it authorized people who win $1 million or more the option to remain anonymous.

Powerball tickets sold in Wisconsin,California split $632M

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Powerball tickets sold in Wisconsin and California were winners of the latest jackpot and will split $632 million, officials said.

The Wisconsin Lottery didn’t immediately announce where the winning ticket in its state was sold. The winning ticket in California was sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Sacramento, the California Lottery said.
